Best Served Cold is the first collaborative project from producer and multi-intrumentalist Maxi Roots, and DJ & MC Vixen Sound.
Gently traversing fresh territory from their respective, well-known Cumbia and reggae sounds, Best Served Cold serves loungey, almost jazzy flavours with added funk and self-loving lyrics.
Both the track and video for the single were recorded in one take during lockdown, as a distraction-from-reality pandemic project.
